Thousand Guineas Track Bias Report: The 1600m start is at the beginning of the back straight giving all horses a chance to get ready for the first turn and another long straight run brings the field up to the final turn. The rail is normally in the true position and when then track is no worse than Dead Caulfield races fairly under these conditions, however statistics show that horses drawn inside barrier 8 have more wins than those drawn wide.
