1. At your local TAB - located in the main street of most suburbs and also at many sportsbars and pubs. Most outlets are open seven days a week. Fill out one of the easy to use betting slips to place a bet over the counter.

What you should know:  The minimum amount you can wager for an over the counter bet at your local TAB is $3.00 per ticket. The minimum bet can be made up of a number different ways, so long as the total spend per ticket is $3.00 or more. For example:

One runner for $2 Win and $1 Place or $1.50 Each Way
Three runners for $1 Win
Three runners in a Box Trifecta for 50c
Four runners in a Box Quinella for 50c
1 x 1 x 2 x 3 in a Quaddie for 50c.
Flexi Bet First Four for $3.00 (must be a minimum of 1%)
